Welcome to Goldfinch Gatherings, a warm and welcoming space for freelancers and small business owners who identify as female. Our events are designed to foster genuine connections, support, and community. By booking or attending a Goldfinch Gathering event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Goldfinch Gatherings are designed exclusively for:
Female-identifying freelancers, solopreneurs, small business owners, and creatives.
Those looking to share the highs and lows of running a business in an open, supportive environment.
People who want to grow their business organically through trust, connection, and collaboration.
Individuals who are interested in building relationships, gaining confidence, and contributing to a kind and engaged community.
Our events are not open to:
Representatives of larger organisations or charities.
Individuals attending solely for the purpose of lead generation, mass networking, or unsolicited selling.
Anyone whose conduct undermines the respectful and inclusive environment we work hard to create.
Goldfinch Gatherings are:
Open and welcoming to any freelancers, solopreneurs and small business owners who identify as female
An open space space where you can share the highs and lows of running your business
Somewhere you can get support from other business owners and ask for advice
An opportunity to meet other like-minded people, with the potential to form friendships
A place to talk to others about what you do & build your confidence in networking with others
An opportunity to grow your business through recommendations and referrals (once people get to know, like and trust you)
Goldfinch Gatherings are not:
A place to aggressively pitch your products or services.
Somewhere to blindly hand out business cards to everyone in the room – in fact this is strongly discouraged.
Spaces dominated by self-promotion – everyone deserves space to be heard and supported.
An excuse to collect phone numbers, email addresses, or followers without genuine interaction.
Traditional networking groups with a fixed format or the same people each time.
We expect all attendees to behave respectfully and with kindness. Discrimination, harassment, or rudeness of any kind will not be tolerated. Goldfinch Gatherings reserves the right to remove any attendee or prevent rebooking for anyone who does not uphold these values and follow the rest of these terms & conditions.
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend an event you have booked, please email tickets@goldfinchgatherings.co.uk as soon as possible.
While we do not offer refunds, at our discretion, we may transfer your booking or make exceptions in extenuating circumstances.
Repeated no-shows without communication may result in declined bookings for future events.
